Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Scrollwalk, operated by Shyaam Niranjan in India, handles personal data when you visit scrollwalk.com, join the waitlist or use Scrollwalk. Questions or requests: [email protected].

What we collect

When you join the waitlist

Your name, email address, and, if you choose to share them, your Instagram handle and the plan you’re interested in. We also record the date you joined, the page you joined from and the country your connection comes from.

When you use Scrollwalk

Your account details (name, email, sign-in information), your business profile (such as brokerage, licence numbers and contact details), the content you upload, billing records from our payment provider, and basic usage and security logs.

Buyers who contact an agent

When a buyer sends an enquiry or viewing request through a listing page, we process their name, contact details and message on behalf of the agent who owns the page, so it reaches them. The agent decides how that data is used afterwards.

Visitors to this site

This site doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages, keep them secure and show prices in your local currency. If spam protection is switched on for the waitlist form, Cloudflare Turnstile may set a strictly necessary cookie.

How we use it

• To send your pre-launch invite and launch news, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
• To provide, secure and support the service, including publishing the pages you choose to publish.
• To process payments and keep the records the law requires.
• To understand and improve how Scrollwalk is used, using aggregated data.

We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t use it for third-party advertising.

AI and your content

When you ask Scrollwalk to draft listing text, only text is sent to the AI provider: details such as the property type, rooms, area, price and labels. Your photos, videos, name and contact details are not sent, and names and contact details in free-text fields are removed before anything leaves Scrollwalk.

Who we share it with

We use carefully chosen providers to run Scrollwalk, and they may only use data to provide their service to us: Cloudflare (hosting, storage and security), our database and server hosts, our email delivery provider, our AI text provider (text only, as above), and our payment provider (for example Razorpay) for payments. We may disclose data when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Waitlist details are kept until launch and for up to 12 months afterwards, or until you ask us to delete them. Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted within six months after a subscription ends, as described in our Terms, except records we must keep by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. This includes your rights under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act and, where they apply, the GDPR and similar laws. Email [email protected] and we’ll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to what’s needed, and each customer’s data is kept separate from every other customer’s at the database level.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by law.

Changes

We’ll update this page when our practices change and tell you about significant changes by email or in the app.
